Is Adelson working for the Democrats?   Yeah, keep Gingrich in there long enough to do damage to Romney, then shift to support Romney, a damaged nominee.  I love it.

I hope he give’s “The Newt” 100 million dollars.

Newt is history but at least the money is coming out of Adelson’s pocket and going into our economy.

Adelson's son is a sniper in a foreign army.

Adelson regrets serving in the US Armed Forces, wishing he himself had served in that foreign army.

Gingrich will have the US fight the wars of that foreign army.

Adelson has one agenda, that being that he views Gingrich as being someone who would back Israel until their actions made themselves and the U. S. circle the drain and go down it.  Mr. Adelson appears to have far more concern for Israel than he does the country which permitted him to become mega rich and irrespective of one's religion, I am old fashioned in that I put America first and foremost always.  I have concern and empathy for other countries, including Israel, but Israel's behavior and actions do not always bode well for the U.S.

Additionally, Adelson has an unsavory list of offenses in his climb to the mega rich, including stomping on the rights of his employees and breaking a lot of protections which are afforded citizens of Israel in their labor laws.  He loves Israel and Israel protects its' workers far better than the U. S.  Adelson is also under investigation for playing mighty lose with the law in regards to payment of bribes, specifically related to his Macaw casino, and if it blows up on him, old pudgy may go down with him.  It is somewhat amusing to see all these mega rich jump on board "their man" within the Republican race and go at one another, but it also demonstrates our election process is broken, as these mega rich can, essentially, purchase a candidate which could ultimately become the President of the U.S. and that President is going to jump high when they say to do so.  This country is supposed to have a President which does what is right for the country, not some mega rich person who stomped on laws, regulations, and their employees to garner that wealth.

Defacto is the right word. Both he and his candidate look like they couldn't boost a bowling ball without keeling over.

Addelson's 10 million: The Stings Attached, The Hidden Agenda

Insider reporting is that $5 million is for Michigan with the Proviso that Newt focus on winning over his "natural constituency" i.e. the Santorum folks. with a goal that he keep either Romney or Santorum from having a strong win (assuming that Paul's folks do their usual part.

The second $5 is for Georgia and the southern with a goal that Newt comes out on top knocking both Romney and Santorum to the side but with Romney in second.

What's the value? Both contest strategies weaken Santorum. Newt is, in the long wrong unlikely to win the nomination since he cannot put a coalition together that holds, Thus, Romney benefits in the long run for the nomination.

Why? Eddelson wants the most likely winner to emerge from the GOP nomination process and that still remains Mitt.

$25 million could help the sick
or the elderly
or feed people
or educate children
Adelson could command some respect for being a humanitarian
instead of funding a failed candidate

If the "Anybody but Romney" vote is divided between Gingrich and Santorum, Romney wins Michigan. So it all depends on whether Gingrich makes ad buys in Michigan or holds on to his last Sugar Daddy dollars to win an easy state for him (Georgia) and then bow out of the race he was never really in to begin with.

Adelson is buying a bombing of Iran and he does not particularly care which of the GOP war mongers will do it for him.

No indeed not!!! Republicans never pay for anything, they just put it on the credit card for the next guy to worry about just like their messiah Reagan taught them to do.

Americans have become callous toward morality, but it does not mean those Americans have any business keeping the rest of the nation in bondage. We need obama to go, not to be replaced by another phony "leader."

Obama's approval rating is moving steadily upward.  No one believes that he is a perfect individual, or the best President in our history.  However, he may just be the President that our country needs right now, because he is willing to act decisively and not a one of the opposition of the opposition has demonstrated a credible capability of leading their own campaign staff effectively, let alone the country and by extension the opinion of the free world.

So, enjoy your opinion about American indifference to morality.  However, I think it safe to state that most American citizens have a keen awareness of morality.  It is our leadership, especially in the banking and political communities that is rudderless and, in many cases, unworthy of respect or capable of redemption.

I think he has done a fantastic job considering what he was handed and the fact that the GOP has made it their main goal for him to fail. They failed. Not him.

At the end of the day Adelson is really helping Obama..Even though it is the last thing he intends to do..He is not allowing any Republican Candidate to be strong enough to beat the POTUS..He is weakening Romney, Santorum, and there is no way Gingrich will be the nominee..So, Thank you Mr.Adelson..and, OBAMA 2012!

I am tired of the influence the American (?) jew have in this country, AIPAC and Israel first people like Adelson and the politicians pandering to Isreal. I am Irish and recall the outrage when American Irish gave money to the IRA where is that outrage when a man like Adelson can buy a president ? If he really cared why doesn't he donate all his millions directly to Israel instead of a candidate.

Newt was never a real candidate and Ron Paul is a far fringe extremist who would never succeed in getting more than a very few percentage points in a general election.
