Road Rage Stabbing, Crash Lead To Ross Sudbrook's Arrest In Maryland

Road Rage Victim Found Stabbed After Crash

Cops arrested a man for allegedly stabbing someone from another car before the two vehicles crashed into a ditch in Maryland on Monday.

Ross Sudbrook, 23, is accused of knifing a man after the two apparently got out of their respective cars and started arguing, according to the Baltimore Sun.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a Ford Explorer and a PT Cruiser in a drainage ditch along a highway in Gambrills. Inside the Explorer was the 44-year-old stabbing victim -- who was in the passenger seat -- and two other injured people. An unidentified driver and Sudbrook were in the PT Cruiser.

Cops said that Sudbrook and his victim had gotten out of their vehicles to argue at some point on the highway when Sudbrook shanked the man in the chest, WBAL reported. Then Sudbrook allegedly tried to flee in the Cruiser, but the driver of the Explorer stayed close behind and ultimately collided with him, flinging both of the vehicles into a ditch.

Sudbrook and the stabbing victim then continued to fight, according to D.C.'s local Fox affiliate.

Sudbrook was treated for minor injuries, and the stabbing victim is expected to be fine.

Cops charged Sudbrook with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and assault with a deadly weapon.
