Well DUH! he is a job killer, union busting, surplus eating Governor who is the Bush of WI, I can't wait to hear that he's been recalled and we have a Senate and House that will fight for the ordinary Wisconsonites

Job loss 7.3 to 7.7 with Wisconsin losing more more jobs then any other state in the country.

You can look up his campaign promises but you can't refute the loss numbers. I hope this helps you avoid my provocative nature and consider me a friend.

If the repubs won't let Obama claim the "It would have been worse," clause, they're not allowed to say it either.

I wouldn't put it past Walker's money men to start some project that will create a bunch of jobs, only to be cancelled the day after election day.

They've given out lots of tax credits to employers, but the business community hasn't exactly rallied around Walker and created any new economic activity.

Mostly they appear to have taken the tax savings and put it in the bank, thus demonstrating the limits of supply-side tax policies.

The lesson? Demand for goods and services is the only thing that creates jobs, not Capital, Oligarchs or Governors. When you take money out of the hands of individuals and concentrate it in the hands of capital, you get negative results.

What an odd situation, when a bunch of Reagan appointees take the state Republicans to task. How did they ever think it was legal to use public money to fund the 'party caucus' where they drew up their secret redistricting maps? I figure they owe us about $500,000, and possibly much more.

Even more priceless are the paid advocates that they sent to the public hearings, the secrecy agreement that they had to sign in order to view what were ostensibly public documents, and the very specific instructions to 'ignore public comments' on the redistricting process.

If their stated intention is to ignore the public, exactly who ARE they representing? Themselves?

I'm sure Walker's Chicago connection, the Heartland institute, can spin a little thing like that. Those Chicago boys sure know what's what for Wisconsin.

I see people all over this thread posting how public sector workers are worthless. What man, or woman is worth $13.7 million dollars a year? The Oil company execs whose companies get tax subsidies, believe they are worth that much. Our tax dollars hard at work. That's 263k / week. That is 6,586/ hr. Now you tell me it's not worth our while to pay teachers, policemen, nurses, doctors, scientists, or bus drivers, but we can subsidize oil companies, so they can give their CEO's that kind of pay. Who is worth more to the majority? Not the CEO's or people that put us in this mess for sure. I am all for people making it, and doing well, but enough on the backs of the middle class and poor. Enough on the premise that regular people are bad. I am tired of the divide that's played out in this country. The people that should be angry are defending these guys, for what? Next time you take public transportation, or see that a police officer is doing his duty, or a fireman is putting out a fire, you should be thankful we have these public services.

Great comment. Anyone who wants a business-run society hasn't looked closely enough at the many examples of business-run societies around the world. Russia and China are two of my personal favorites. Universally, they're anti-democratic and unaccountable governments that maintain power through state security while the populations remain mired in poverty.

But they're profitable and competitive, so that makes it OK.

The strongest, wealthiest and most enduring societies on earth are the ones with strong civil institutions and an empowered citizenry, not the ones that are run by capital and business.

Not shocking at all. The man is poison. The only reason he won, was because of the divide the Koch Bros. instilled in the people of WI.

Something to ponder, under bush's patriot act it's legal to keep the k0.ch brothers, the heritage foundation, the mackinac center for public policy, the heritage foundation and the ca..to institute under surveillance for suspicious anti American economic terr.0r.ist activities. I hope the Obama administration is doing that.

Of course it does since when does the judicial branch legislate?

Separation of powers, one of the foundations of our Govt. Since the public unions can't get their people elected, they have to use lawsuits to circumvent the checks and balances in the government.

Will end up like last year on a different issue where a 7th grader can predict the outcome - Democratically elected Legislators make laws. Not too tough folks.

OMG - is anyone paying attention to the disaster in Illinois?
They raised taxes big time --
Cut services big time -
Laid off Hugh numbers of state employees -
Closed countless state facilities -
But kept the UNION in tact.
The result --
Illinois is in even deep debt!
But here in Wisconsin --
Thanks to Scott Walker -- mostly Roses - ;-)
