Kate Gosselin Divorce: Jon Gosselin And Kate Have 'Peaceful' Relationship (VIDEO)

Kate Gosselin stopped by "Dr. Drew's Lifechangers" Wednesday and discussed her relationship with ex-husband Jon Gosselin, with whom she shares custody of their eight children.

"Jon basically lives his life and I live mine... it's more peaceful and it's probably not anything I'm doing differently," she told Dr. Drew.

Gosselin, whose reality show, “Kate Plus 8,” ended in September 2011, said their improved relationship might have something to do with her ex-husband's recent employment.

"He feels like he's living a regular life again and maybe [he's] a little happier himself, so that boils down to peace between us. The kids are now okay going there," the reality TV star said. "I feel like he's trying again. The bottom line is, the kids come home happy, basically, so that's all that matters."

Her sentiments are a departure from earlier comments she made about their acrimonious split; in December 2010, Gosselin told "Today Show" co-host Meredith Vieira that she hadn't yet made up with Jon after their highly publicized split, and that two of their children, Collin and Alexis, had anger issues, which she believed stemmed from the couple's divorce.

Gosselin filed for divorce from Jon in June 2009 after ten years of marriage, amid rumors of Jon's infidelity.

This will affect alot of people in reality television when they figure out it's not their talents that people were watching it's their train wreck. The money goes and so does the limelight and now no one cares. Shocking is what it is.

It was obvious that Kate loved and continues to love being in front of the camera.Her and Jons show should have been named,"Watch poor Kate try and be a mom" show. She was very full of herself. Putting Jon down so much,that it got to be a bit to much for all my friends and family who watched it. She did the poor mommie act,and I and my friends got tired of her acting like she was the only woman on the face of the earth who had children. My grama had 24 kids in 24 years,,my dad was the youngest. No plumbing ,no electricity,wood cook stove and farmed with my grampa. Not once in all the years she lived did she say" poor me". She was one of the most giving and beautiful women I ever knew. Would she have done a reality show? No. She was as about as real as Kate has continued not to be.

She gets along with Jon right now because he's inbetween girlfriends. When he has a girlfriend and she's alone, she's bitter and jealous and has to let everyone know how miserable the kids are going to see him.

She's bitter any way you look at her! She is not a nice person, thinks that it's ONLY her way or the highway and will never change. In fact, I think she gets worse and worse every day. Don't you love that dress she has on? Nice "mom" personna, don't you think? Wish she would just go away already.

She's appearing everywhere I guess; a day or so ago it was the same thing said to Dr. Drew, although she cried for the therapy show.

It seems that appearing opposite Dr. Drew in almost any setting, is certainly a sign of some kind of personal and professional distress.....and Dr. Drew the last person anyone should see in that condition, since his ratings are derived from creating ratings off of their illnesses.
Little things he does, such as throwing addicts together with a felony history of violence against each other, and films as they go through their first week clean......a time when their skin has been peeled completely off, and even their hair hurts.....he prays for them to erupt, and true to form, they do.
Dr.Drew will look at the camera, say , "More treatment is definitely needed," and at that point, if they don't run out of the room as if their hair was on fire, they are surely doomed......to Dr. Drew.

Kate nobody cares you choose this your a registered nurse go back to work you are still active in the registey, you just want the glamor life..... Well not on my time if I can go to work so can you again you were fully aware of the affect of fertillity treaments. You choose to go that route you raise your kids, you have been given enough freebies, since those babies got here it's not the kids fault they have idiots for parents poor babies, take the weave out put on the nurse uniform people might respect you alittle more if you tried to make it on your own. Go to work Kate we need more nurse's.

Tell me why you feel you have the right to order people to live the way you think they should? I am not a fan of Kate Gosselin, but I surely have no emotional investment on what she chooses to do with her life, or what employment she takes...

If she can get a gig she likes, doing work that keeps her as a hands on mom, go her! I would do the same thing if I could in her shoes... at the end of the day I doubt highly that she cares what people think, and I bet she is more concerned about how to live her life in the best way she can.. why this makes you personally bitter is beyond me

Kate's fake 'meltdown' doesn't fool anyone. She got everything she deserved. Worried about raising her kids? HaHa. If she didn't pay for hairdos, spas, traveling, nannies, cleaning people,surgery, etc... she would have enough money to support them in style. Stay off tv and quit whinning about your poor self. Poor, pitiful, little Kate. What a sweetheart. OMG. Seriously, now? Get over it, and get over yourself, Kate. Honestly, I occasionally saw the early shows, and I thought that Jon must be a saint to put up with her s***, constant whinning, belittling, and overbearing nature. He seemed to do more for the kids at that time than she did, because all she had time to do was make "lists" and "schedules." Good grief, she had people coming to her home constantly, volunteering to help with everything, so how did she really have it so bad? There are plenty of mothers out there raising more than two kids, or multiples, and they have to do it without her financial benefits, and without help. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike her because she has a strong personality, nor do I think a strong personality in a female necessarily makes one a b***h. I'm also strong-willed, determined, and definitely not the "meek little woman", but I at least try to treat everyone decently, appreciate what I have, and smile, not act like a dictator with something stuck up where the sun doesn't shine. Please, Dr. Drew, don't stoop down so low that you have to have Kate G. on your show. Just stick to the other dumb****s out there without talent or intelligence who need to try to continue their 15 minutes of undeserved fame.

That is what really gets me. My father came from a family of 13 kids. there was no reality show in the 20's and 30's. just plan old hard work. People have been having large families for thousands of years. But she whines about how she does not know how she is going to make it with all these kids.. a say climb off the cross, somebody else needs the wood.
