SPARC, San Francisco Pot Club, Wins California Home + Design Award (PHOTOS)

With its old-fashioned sensibility and eco-sensitive design, the San Francisco Patient and Resource Center, or SPARC, doesn’t look like the typically bedraggled pot club you’d expect to find in the city’s gritty SoMa neighborhood. Holding dear the owners’ crusade to provide a welcoming environment for ailing patients who benefit from marijuana’s curative properties, Larissa Sand, principal of nearby design firm Sand Studios, endeavored to “reinterpret the industry.”

Spelled backwards, it's CRAPS....and it's a crap shoot in the dispensary business these days as the feds protect our citizens from the horrific evils of marijuana.

Nobody knows if they are safe, if they will be raided, if the IRS will slap a lien on them. This must be the fed's way of strengthening the drug cartels in Mexico while making things even more difficult for those truly in need of medical relief. Nice priorites - screw our cancer patients, screw the tax revenue that dispensaries generate, and let's throw our support to the Sinaloa and Zeta cartels.

that's what you and i would like... but if i were the prosecutor looking to shut down those who were flaunting the law, i would definitely go right to the club pictured...

I was in a potclub in 1969 in EGR, Michigan
( you know it as East Grand Falls in the movie AMERICAN PIE ).
But I don't smoke anymore because its against ferderal law.
