Feingold is still being drafted. While some states seem to like new faces in the senate, WI seems to be one that values old faces. Feingold, would probably be able to raise all his money through soft money, and I think in this election he needs to save the senate. Baldwin is a nice woman, and I really like her, but I have my doubts that unlike MI WA or Minn. they don't have a big tradition with a lot of women in politics. In some ways it's like Mass.

For what is he being drafted? The governor's recall race? Or the Senate race?

I want him back in the senate. He doesn't want to get caught up in the recall. I'm not that big on the recall myself. Feingold lost a dirty election in a year with poor turnout. He belongs in the senate, and I think Baldwin might be too much of a risk against Tommy Thompson, who has lots of billionaire friends. Feingold could be spent 100-1 and I believe he'd win.
