I forgot to take my permission slip home to have signed for a trip to the farm...I remember trying to sign it myself...But I couldn't spell DORIS:) I didn't go...When my kids were in school. I was a obsessive about permission slips etc...Always knew when my kids had trips and made sure they had permission!!:)

The one about the no cake at school makes me think of how my daughter is a January baby and her cousin is a June baby and my daughter is always complaining that she can't have her parties at a park or pool like her cousin. You defiantly have to get a little more creative with winter b-days!

LOL. Love the one about being born in July so no cake in school...my daughter was born in July. She gets so excited when her classmates celebrate their birthdays, but I know she's thinking what about me

That's why the district my kid goes to school in has unbirthday party days for summer birthday kids. They just pick a random day in the year where there aren't that many birthdays and have a party.
