Obama Administration Proposes Tax Raises To Boost Manufacturing

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration, seeking to promote domestic manufacturing without increasing the federal deficit, proposed Wednesday to offset new tax breaks for manufacturers by raising taxes on a wide range of other companies.

Just remember, corporations pass on the tax in the form of a higher price. They are just hidden, regressive taxes that hurt the poor the most.

The Congress needs to get rid of tax breaks for companies that send jobs overseas yesterday. If we are borrowing money from overseas to pay for this kwapola, it not only needs to stop, there needs to be a retroactive clawback.
