Forget those ridiculously self-important Oscar parties going on around town. You’re not invited anyway. But who cares? Just because you haven’t made the A-list (yet) doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a little glitz and glam on Hollywood’s biggest night. Whether you want to toast the Oscars with a nominee-inspired cocktail or feel like stuffing your face while watching all the red carpet action, check out these fun Academy Awards celebrations for all the little people.

Where better to enjoy the Oscars than at the site of the very first Academy Awards ceremony in 1929? The legendary Hollywood Roosevelt will host a viewing dinner and party on Oscar Sunday with a six-course menu + cocktail for $89 ($99 with admission to the party). The show will be screened on four big plasma screens in the lobby, which will be transformed into a viewing lounge.

Hollywood Roosevelt also notes that an a la carte menu is available with a $25 entry fee and a $25 food and beverage minimum.

Call the Hollywood Roosevelt at 323-769-8888 to make reservations.
