WATCH: Bride Plans A Wedding With Only Six Months Left To Live

How do you plan a wedding when you might only have six months to live?

Cystic Fibrosis patient Kirstie Mills was faced with that dilemma when her debilitating condition put her on a double-lung transplant list.

In this clip from a new TLC special, "Breathless Bride: Dying to Live," the bride-to-be says that she's made special arrangements for her nuptials to accomodate her prognosis, as her wedding date could change at any time. "The venue we chose, they said if we had to reschedule it at any point, they would be happy to ... Things like the flowers, they're fake -- so they won't waste. The cake is fruit, which keeps for ages."

"Breathless Bride" follows Mills' journey as she battles her disease and plans her June nuptials with her fiancee Stuart, despite the fact that she might die before she ever gets a transplant.

The TLC documentary airs Wednesday Feb. 29 at 10 PM EST.
