Jon Stewart Mocks Arizona GOP CNN Debate: Romney's 'Seinfeld' Joke, One-Word Answers (VIDEO)

WATCH: Jon Stewart Mocks GOP Debate In Arizona

After 20 debates so far in the GOP primary, you'd think Jon Stewart would be sick of them already -- as he pointed out, one more and the debates can legally drink. But on Thursday night's "Daily Show," he managed to get through the CNN debate in Arizona Wednesday by focusing on the sillier aspects of the night.

Right off the bat, Mitt Romney made a "Seinfeld" reference (at which any real fan would scoff) after pausing for a long applause break. Not only does he get the quote wrong, but he attributes it to George Costanza when it was Jerry who said, "When you hit that high note, you say goodnight and walk off," not, "When they're applauding, stop."

"Don't pretend that you watch 'Seinfeld', you big phony," Stewart chided.

After a brief review of Rick Santorum's performance in the debate and a look at why he'll be "one more failed not-Romney," Stewart got to the second most ridiculous moment of the night: the one-word answer question. Stewart was thrilled with the idea ("We could've just done this one-word sh*t at the beginning of the whole shebang!") but it also reminded him of how much he misses Rick Perry:

"This is when you really miss Rick Perry in the debates, don't you? He's the guy who could actually blow it in one word."

Watch the full clip above and hear Stewart's take on the candidates' one-word answers, including Newt Gingrich's "Cheerful" response which causes Stewart to end the bit by walking away from his desk.
