Romney has no big ideas. All he has done is rehashed Bush and Ron's failed economic policies.  So  there is nothing there to invigorate the crowd.

In fact, his big selling point  is that Romney is the best person to fix the economy because he is a ivy league MBA businessman.

I think we should start answering this comment by reminding folks that the last ivy-league MBA  Read More...

Does that mean that the WHEELS are coming off?

His campaign is TIRED?

He has hit a DEAD END?

All of the automobile puns are so apropos for this state.

Chances are a nice sized portion of that audience listening to Mitt's speech were members of Michigan governor Tricky Ricky's Lansing office, as well as friends and family members. Mitt's campaign manager needs to direct him to a hair dresser that will lay off the Brylcreem.

I thought Mitt had the best political team $$ could buy.
Says something about his judgment if this is the best they could do.

Could there be a better visual representation of the 1%? I don't think so. Even if the stadium was full, these are the only guys in Detroit that he would be talking to.

I am not fond of republicans.

Of course I am not a fan, because I am not fond of any repubicans, but really, this whole thing about the empty seats is just bogus. The place had about 12 hundred people there. Not a ridiculousely low number, and the pictures that were being shown of Obama's rallies that I saw in comparison, included a rally when he accepted the nomination. This was just not that bad of a size... However, I have no excusses for him regading the things that he said. That part was just plainstoooopid.

PR people on campaigns are paid to deal with issues like this. Don't book a room too big for your event. Similar to Huntsman's announcement speech when they were supposed to have the Statue of Liberty in the background and failed, missing details like this can point to a poorly run campaign.

What would he and his wife be driving if he had his way, and 2 of the 3 Detroit Automakers had not gotten the Bailout that saved the industry? Remember that Ford admitted it would have gone down right behind GM and Chrysler, if they had failed, due to the subsequent Failures of the ancillary Manufacturers that would have lost most of their business with the failure of the first 2 Automakers.
For someone who stands on his business acumen, and experience, he sure doesn't get it. That's probably why, a major portion of the business at Bain Capitol was dealing with Selloffs

It's no secret that Kwame Kilpatrick would draw more supporters than Mitt Romney. This photo only confirms that Mitt is the best choice in November.
