Jennifer Lopez Oscars Dress 2012: A Little Too Sheer? (PHOTOS)

Considering she wasn't nominated for anything and seemingly had nothing to do with movies this year, Jennifer Lopez sure made a splash on the Oscars 2012 red carpet.

In typical J. Lo fashion, there was a lot going on: super voluminous hair, super shiny, super low-cut... and super sheer.

Lopez's silvery, long-sleeve Zuhair Murad dress got noticed on the red carpet... then got even more attention onstage. She and Cameron Diaz (also wearing a pale, shimmery gown by Gucci) presented the award for Best Costume Design and in doing so, demonstrated just how important good design can be.

As Jennifer shifted position onstage, we could have sworn we saw a hint of nipple... perhaps just an outline. As a nearby male viewer assured us, "Oh yeah. Edge of the areola."

But don't take our word for it -- it could just as easily have been a shadow. In any case, what did you think of Jennifer's look, from the mega hair to the deep v-neck?

I didn't see any boobage. Her hair was fine, her makeup was too dark, stark, whatever. No.

I liked the back - but the biggest problem were the cutouts on the arms. I don't think it was actually cut out, and whatever fabric they used seemed to pull across her skin, and it looked like she had giant scratches in those areas.

And the nip slip was no accident. Girlfriend got the press she wanted from showing some pink parts.

Photos and video don't always provide enough basis to decide on sheerness,I'd have to see it up close and personal.

I just wish she would class it up a bit sometimes. Jenny from the block, you can be sexy AND classy at the same time. She hits and misses and this dress missed the bullseye by a little bit. I think her body looked fabulous just wished she had draped better attire over it.

The dress would look better without the sleeves. If anyone thought they saw a nip slip, then they don't know boobs at all.
