America's Favorite, Least Favorite News Personalities: Poll

A new poll asked Americans for their favorite and least favorite news personalities, and the people have spoken.

Harris Interactive asked over 2,000 people for their three favorite personalities. Diane Sawyer came out on top, with 23% naming her in their picks. Twenty-eight percent of Democrats, 17% of Republicans and 25% of independents included her as one of their top three. She was followed by CNN's Anderson Cooper (19%) and NBC's Brian Williams (19%).

The least favorite news personality was Rush Limbaugh, whom 46% of people named as one of their three least favorite news personalities. He was followed by Fox News' Bill O'Reilly (31%) and HLN's Nancy Grace (23%).

The study's results also noted that Limbaugh "is in the least liked top three for all three political parties." Sixty-six percent of Democrats, 49% of independents and 24% of Republicans chose Limbaugh as one of their least favorites.
