Hollywood's biggest stars took the stage at the 84th annual Academy Awards last night, but it wasn't their clothes that had Twitter buzzing.
Angelina Jolie's leg, Jennifer Lopez's nipple and Bradley Cooper's mustache were anthropomorphized with parody Twitter accounts of the celebrities' body parts that stole the show.
Immediately after Jennifer Lopez's nipple barely popped out, so too did @JLosNipple. "DID YOU SEE ME," was the lightning-fast first tweet about the singer's wardrobe malfunction. At the time this article was published, @JLosNipple had already gained more than 2,000 followers. The nipple, which apparently has a voice and sense of humor of its own, explained, "J.Lo's not to blame....it's my fault, I couldn't breathe," and spent the evening tweeting at celebrities, news organizations and Angelina Jolie's leg.
When Jolie took the stage as a presenter, all eyes fell on her right leg, which was awkwardly thrust out of the mile-high slit in her black Atelier Versace dress. Jolie's limb inspired @AngiesRightLeg (as well as @Angiesleg, which was erroneously tweeting as her left leg), and became the most popular parody account of the night, having already amassed more than 13,500 followers. But unlike @JLosNipple, the 36-year-old actress' right leg didn't need to bother tweeting at celebrities to get attention.
The same cannot be said for Bradley Cooper's mustache, which made a desperate and failed attempt to get some love for the actor's new facial hair. The parody account, @CoopersMustache, has a tiny following, which should be a hint to the actor himself that he may want to think about shaving.
