If YouTube and ubiquitous lolcat memes have taught us anything, it's that adorably happy pets rule the Internet, and we here at The Huffington Post are certainly not shy about our love for all things cute and cuddly—especially dogs.
Because we know that sometimes man's best friend can also be his best muse in front of the camera, we're putting the spotlight on our readers' canine companions.
Got a top dog that you can't help but want to show off to the rest of the world? Celebrate your prized pooch with other HuffPost users (and vote for your favorites) by submitting a photo of your own snap-happy or playful pups—furry, frolicking, and even smelly are all welcome.
On that note, we'd like to think if every dog has its day, why not every pet? We're opening the stage to every paw, claw and wing in between, so feel free to submit your other pets, doggone it! Don't have a pet (yet)? No need to fret. If you're up for the long-term responsibility of owning and caring for a pet, there are plenty of adoption options to be found at your local shelter, or by using the pet adoption tools available on Pedigree.com and the ASPCA website.
