Angelina Jolie 'Vogue Turkey' Cover Is Missing A Right Leg (PHOTOS, POLL)

As opposed to that other famous (former) Brad Pitt flame, Angelina Jolie rarely graces magazine covers. She occasionally throws Vanity Fair or W a bone, but most mags have to go without Hollywood's biggest female star (or just download file photos and slap cover lines on them, a la Harper's Bazaar).

So we were surprised to see Angie on the March 2012 cover of Vogue Turkey. After all, it's Vogue (albeit an international edition)! And she actually posed for Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for the cover shoot!

We should be totally psyched. Instead, we're pretty disappointed. We're a fan of black and white photos, but not necessarily for covers. Plus this photo is an extreme closeup, omitting Angelina's best feature: her right leg.

After it made a splashy appearance on the 2012 Oscars red carpet, Angelina's right leg has surpassed Jolie herself in popularity (Angelina's not even on Twitter, while her leg has 33,543 Twitter followers).

Alas, for one of her rare cover appearances, Jolie decided to keep things simple, focused and legless. Do you agree that just a little something extra would improve this Vogue Turkey cover?

She's much prettier without that lanky body being the focus. Besides, her biggest asset is her concern for those suffering in Sudan, Congo, and in other places where the world pays little attention. I say, you go girl! for using her celebrity to shed light where there is darkness and despair. TMZ in the Nuba Mountains? Maybe if Angelina leads them there.

Good for AJ and BP for giving money away, but they are not alone EXCEPT for the way they make sure we know about it -- sending press releases to every media outlet every time they give a nickel, Angelina traveling anywhere for a few hours to release a photo of herself in a headscarf sitting among the disadvantaged or troubled. It's shameless self-promotion and manipulation. Others do just as much and we never hear about it. Moreover, when you make ten fortunes a year, charitable giving is the way to offset taxes.

Whoa, "BIGGEST FEMALE STAR?" Might want to dial back on that. The last movie she starred in was The Tourist, a flop, and before that, SALT, a true flop. She has also done v.o. for a couple of Kung Fu Panda films. Her acting chops are barely visible, she never does a scene with more than a sentence in it, so as not to over-tax her talent for emoting. Biggest paycheck? Maybe, biggest star? no way.

She made a fool out of herself at the Oscars. She's just an attention 'ho. Remember the year she french kissed her brother repeatedly for the cameras? This woman needs an intervention. She's not well.

These are beautiful!!!

Didn't particularly care for her Oscar look. No one can beat Heidi Klum's elites dresses.
Angelina looked a mess, frankly. Greasy face, disheveled hair, and a dress that made her look disproportionate, a poofy black dress showing a a long very pale leg. She should reconsider her stylist.
