Nestle Crunch Girl Scout Candy Bar Is Real, But Not Yet Available, Says Girl Scouts

Rumors of a Girl Scout candy bar began to swirl this week after an image of Thin Mint-Nestle Crunch hybrid was posted on Reddit.The ladies at Jezebel tried to temper their excitement:

This mysterious temptress showed up on Reddit today, but no one can find any mention of it anywhere else on the internet. This precious item is clearly marked as a sales sample, so let's hope that's a sign that these will someday be available for our constant, uninterrupted consumption.

The candy bar photo you're looking at above was emailed to HuffPost Food straight from the horse's mouth: the Girl Scouts. Yup, those Redditors were on to something; THIS IS REAL. Don't get too excited yet though -- the Nestle Crunch Girl Scout Candy Bar is not yet in stores. Here's the official word:

We are thrilled with the positive response to the Nestle Crunch Girl Scout Candy Bar. The product photo is a retail sales sample and not available for sale at this time. Look forward to some very exciting news in June.

Here's what we can tell you though. The candy bar has dark chocolate cookie wafers and mint chocolate crème, topped with airy crispies.

The Girl Scouts should offer a "Cookie of the Month" plan. A box of cookies every month for a year for one low price - only available for purchase during cookie season. Who wants to wait a whole year for their GS cookie fix?

This looks awesome, and I'll probably buy it despite my horrible memories of being a Girl Scout. Maybe they're supposed to try to teach girls to be decent human beings - or even merely human - but in my time and my area, they singularly failed.

Girl Scouts Distribute Planned Parenthood Sex Guide at UN Meeting

One recent Girl Scout project 'aims at securing the right of women, men and adolescents aged between ten and twenty-five, to better reproductive and sexual health.'


The Girl Scouts, along with the YMCA have been co-moderating a young women´s caucus that included an 'Intergenerational Conversation'
The World Association of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides hosted a no-adults-welcome panel at the United Nations this week where Planned Parenthood was allowed to distribute a brochure entitled "Healthy, Happy and Hot." The event was part of the annual United Nations Commission on the Status of Women
The brochure, aimed at young people living with HIV, contains explicit and graphic details on sex, as well as the promotion of casual sex in many forms. , "Many people think sex is just about vaginal or anal intercourse… But, there are lots of different ways to have sex and lots of different types of sex. There is no right or wrong way to have sex. Just have fun, explore and be yourself!"

The brochure goes on to encourage young people to Play with yourself! Masturbation is a great way to find out more about your body and what you find sexually stimulating. Mix things up by using different kinds of touch from very soft to hard. Talk about or act out your fantasies. Talk dirty to them."

If you believe this is really true, then you need to check up on things like this before you swallow it. But if you know this is a lie and you try and pass it off as the truth, then people like are sick in the mind. I assume you're a christian, maybe even a catholic, and if you can't win people over with truth and honesty in facts, the you have to use lies to inflame those who can't think further than what is before their eyes. As Christians we no longer support the girl scouts. their association with the radical factions within the UN and also with planned parenthood. These young girls do not need to be exposed to abortion, casual sex ed and sex toys.

I was in the Girl Scouts in the 1970s and never heard of Planned Parenthood, lesbianism or sex toys during that time -- and that was during the sexual revolution. I don't know where these stories are coming from.

I have been a long time supporter of the Girl Scouts for over 35 years. This was the first time I did not support them cause of their act to allow Boys to join a all girls organization. I'm sorry for no longer supporting a cause that I thought was so pure and encouraging to all girls and young woman. And shame on the mother for bringing in the media and national attention on this matter so that she can get her name accross the nation.

I agree total, Iam a Girlscout leader for over 27 years and I will quite the moment Iam asked to have a boy in my troop. I have had several troops over the years some with out any of my own children in them. I love the cause but like everything else there has to be a ripple some where. Where it comes to my little part of the scouting world NEVER WILL THERE BE A BOY IN IT. Unitl that happens I will drag my girls to cookie booths (KIDDING) and have them enjoy the real reason for scouting for GIRLS. I have seen girls for 5 years old to now in the 30 years old have the families and have enjoyed being part of their lifes.
With out scouting these connections would not have happened. You can not throw out the whole wagon just because of of rotten stinking apple.
Your right it is just a mother with an agenda to make a name and Iam sure of money but most with a mental problem raising her SON to be a Girl. SHAME on her!!!!!.

I think the girl scouts should just disban their organization entirly and just call themselves the scouts. They can not call themselves girl scouts any more. I agree, I was a girl scout when I was a kid, no it's not what you are thinking, if you are think what I think you are thinking. My mother was a Girl scout leader and I had to hang around them when the went places, except when they went camping.
