Banana Republic's Fashion Show On A Plane, Kanye West Sells His Shoes And More Style News

It's true that many fashion designers, including Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen, have often used elaborate and highly-dramatic sets for their runway shows. None, however, have shown their clothes 30,000 feet in the air on a commercial flight from New York to L.A., which is exactly how Banana Republic decided to debut their latest Mad Men collection. Perhaps the only redeeming piece from Kanye West's runway show during last season's Paris Fashion Week were his beaded heels designed in partnership with Giuseppe Zanotti (none of the other pieces got picked up by stores).
