The Republican candidate's refusal to confront this violently racist clown of a judge says all you need to know about how and with whom they'll govern. Stop them now. They have no affinity for reason or decency. Obama/Biden 2012, for heaven's sake!

CAN YOU IMAGINE
If a democrat appointed judge had made a joke like this about Barbra Bush?
The right’s heads would still be on fire!
This is not only a federally appointed judge; he is the CHIEF JUSTICE for the state of Missouri!
Where are all the wanna be republican presidents on this?
CRIKETS!
… and they want to hold the office of president? Have the responsibility and duty of appointing future federal judges?
VOTE PEOPLE!

OBAMA / BIDEN 2012!!

What does it say in America today, when a Judge of all people, who is suppose to be fair and balanced, sends such a disgusting email about our President? Since when has the office of the Presidency become so beaten down, that this has become the norm?

This judge should be removed from our judicial system ASAP!

Judge is being investigated for forwarding an email that the judge himself has described as racist and is also a slap in the face of all women. The judge's judgement is definitely questionable.

He should be forced to leave his post. The use of federally paid for facilities to send racially charged material should not be tolerated and these actions also put into question his ability to exercise non biased judgement on ethnic minorities on the defence in his court.

Amazing. A man put in charge of giving out punishment to all citizens equally, can pass on a joke that states a certain group of people are similar to dogs....hmmm
I wonder what a certain group of people would say, if the President, put in charge of governing all Americans, would pass on a joke about a certain group of people being desendants of the DEVIL. hmmmm

President Johnson said this:

“These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference…. .”

A Democrat – Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson (D., Texas), 1957; and President of the United States, 1963-69.

It is not only Republicans we have to watch it is also Democrats. One is just as bad as the other .

That is why I have been an Independent for over 15 years. Neither of those groups has done any more than they have to change institutionalized Racism.

As the judge said “The judge acknowledged that the content of the email was racist, but said he does not consider himself racist.” And we are supposed to take his word because………………

“Cebull said. “I didn't send it as racist, although that's what it is.”

Did he answer his own question, so that those who (you know who you are) can agree with his own assessment.

The joke is not racist folks. Its in bad taste and might to be hurtful, but its not racist, its not comparing blacks to dogs. Its calling into question that "Mommy" got so drunk that she ended up in bed with a black guy, but that she was so drunk that she even would have slept with a dog. Again, terrible bad joke in aweful taste, but not racist.

It puts having sex with a Black person in the same category as having sex with a dog.
In my book, that is racist.

The joke was racist AND in extremely bad taste. Also, the person who originally sent the joke was a racist and everyone who laughed at the joke and forwarded it is a racist. No one who isn’t a racist could possible think that joke was funny.
01:56 PM on 03/01/2012
Says he doesn't remember who sent it to him? And that he deleted it after forwarding it to his friends.
Anyone that he forwarded it to will probably have the persons email address and possibly name on the original transmitted email.
Check it out.

The racist element of this story aside for a moment:

""It was not intended by me in any way to become public," Cebull said. "I apologize to anybody who is offended by it, and I can obviously understand why people would be offended."

Cebull said his brother initially sent him the email, which he forwarded to six of his "old buddies" and acquaintances."

The fact that he didn't think it would somehow get out after begin sent to "buddies and acquaintances" tells me he has VERY poor judgment, which leads me to believe that he is unfit to be a 'judge'.

How is this racist able to sit as a district judge? As a person of color, I would hate to be tried on his court.
05:33 PM on 03/01/2012
Hopefully, he won't be on the bench for long.

He will. No conservatives will hold him accountable and any efforts on our side will just cause them to circle the wagons, like always.

If the GOP did not want to be identified as the GOB (Grand Old Bigots) Party, they should rein in their people. Add this clunker to the list below, must reading for everyone who has a shred of decency (obviously only Dems fit that description).

Here is what current Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid , a Democrat , said about President Obama …
'… light-skinned' African American 'with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,'

Racism is just a prevalent in the Democrats as Republicans
05:36 PM on 03/01/2012
If you think that Reid’s comment is equivalent in any way to the email that Cebull sent out then your own judgment is called into question.

To suggest that there is an equivalency is just idiotic.

Assuming for the sake of argument that what you are saying is true, you are utterly and completely wrong to equate one comment where the person was NOT trying to be offensive as being the same as the 40 (including this racist judge) which WERE trying to be offensive that were itemized in the link that I posted here.

There is not only a difference in the intent of these incidents, but in the level of ugliness contained as well as in the sheer volume of GOP racism.
