How NASA Is Tracking Antarctica's Sea Ice

It's no secret that the planet’s glaciers are melting. The Environmental Protection Agency reports that sea levels have risen from 6 to 8 inches in the past 100 years. Some experts estimate that sea levels will rise as much as 20 inches by the year 2100, which could wreck havoc on coastal cities.

I glanced at the article and didn't see any mention of the amazing GRACE (heh heh) satellites.

Grace doesn't tell anything about floating ice - just about ice resting on the ground.

That's got to be right, thanks.

Of course, Rush Limbaugh tells us that it doesn't matter if ice melts, because the water level doesn't rise in a glass if the ice melts.

His science is nearly on par with his basic human decency.

Deniers have a hard time denying the correlation between global warming and ice melt, so they've turned to the most bizarre ploy of all: claiming that pictures of Arctic ice loss is no more than trick photography!
