Back in October 2011, HuffPo did a piece on Jose Hernandez who announced he is running for Congress as a Democrat to replace. republican. Hernandez is smart (NASA astronaut), supportive of democratic principles, and an American success story. Don't know what Condit brings, but the thought that Independent could be the new "center" is interesting. Not enough specifics.

If you are referring to the son, what problems are you talking about? If you are talking about the dad who was in Congress at that time, the only difference between him and Newt was the fact that Conduit's mistress was murderered by someone having nothing to do with the Congressman.
