The Metropolitan Museum of Art hosts an iconic modern art exhibition collected by the legendary Steins family composed of writer Gertrude Stein, her brothers Leo and Michael, along with Michael's wife Sarah, all who were known for their great influence on artists during their time. The collection includes nearly 200 works from artists Picasso, Matisse, and other key Parisian avant-garde members. Just think, "Midnight in Paris" at the Met!

Alan Menken: Part Of His World

Photographer Cindy Sherman gets a major retrospective showcasing her groundbreaking, conceptual take on contemporary portrait and modern art. The exhibition presents more than 170 photographs of her best work stemming from the 1970's to the present. In addition to the retrospective, Sherman has chosen several films from the museum's collection to be played throughout the exhibition.
