Mike Epps' Daughter, Bria, Files Police Report Following Argument

Mike Epps’ daughter, Bria, has filed a police report against the comedian stating that he threatened to “f**k her up.”

According to TMZ, the 18-year-old filed a police report with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department claiming Epps began the verbal threats following an argument after a February episode of “The Wendy Williams Show,” in which he shouted out two of his children.

The episode led to Bria contacting the “Next Friday” star which resulted in a heated discussion between the two, leading her to declare that she would "air some family drama" to the media.

The site went on to state;

According to the police report, Mike flipped at the threat -- claiming he'd "f**k her up" and "cause her and her mom and grandmother problems." So, Bria filed the report.

But sources close to Mike tell us, the tension started before the WW show -- because Bria asked for Mike to give her lump sums of cash to pay for her college tuition. We're told Mike refused, insisting on paying the school directly ... and that's when Bria snapped and made the threat.

According to sources close to Mike, the Wendy Williams fight was secondary.

At press time no official statement has been released from Mike Epps’ camp.

If you listen to to the tape. Epps says several times, "I am your father and you will not talk to me like that and curse me out." She was so disrespectful to him that he snapped and she pressed "record." For those who swear, I would "never" talk to my daughter like that, messed up when you said "never." The only thing you can say is, "I'll "never" know how I'll react if my child was bluntly disrespectful." Was he wrong...yes! Was she wrong, absolutely! Is her mother behind this and influential in her daughter's behavior, I think so. Will she have relationship problems in he future, probably. I think both need to seek counseling to discuss what happened and why either feels their actions are justified. My advice to Epps is not to scream and curse. Simply hit her where it hurts...in the pocket! Partially pay her tuition and have her come up with the rest! No fancy cars, clothes, gadgets, allowances. Just food on the table and roof over her head with limitations! No filet mignon, just oodles and noodles. No paying cell phone bills! Nothing extra! Growing up my mom taught me, "I'm not required to give you what you 'WANT" only provide you with what you "NEED!" Anything outside of "basic" is on you!" I just pray that Mike Epps and his daughter receives healing in their relationship.

Sounds to me like he spoiled her rotten and she is acting like a brat since she couldn't get what she wanted when she wanted it. Its easy to say what you would do but we don't know the circumstances and I have seen kids in their late teens in department stores with their parents and they are not afraid to call them an idiot or stupid and that is just not something that can be tolerated at all.

I am a 32 year old black male. The reality is that both parents are the ones to blame for this foolishness. This incident should serve as a valuable lesson for all of us. We need to teach our youth early on in life about accepting personal responsibility and holding them accountable for their own actions. Bria seems like she is very smart young lady, but I honestly don't think it would have gone this far if she understood the value of hard work. That said, I hope Bria grow up much sooner rather than later.

The most ironic thing about this whole incident is that numerous posters are whining about the daughter discussing the family's private business.

But it is Epps who directed his people to publicly criticize his own daughter. He should have manned up and said something like, "this is a private family matter, I love my daughter and take full responsibility for this incident."

That's what a man should do. Instead he blames the 18 year old and paints himself as the victim. When it was time to man up, he didn't.

Sorry but young people today are not only cussing out their parents but stealing from them and beating them up. This use to be unheard of in the black community. But I hear stories like this all the time and in my own family. So before people assume Mike Epps is being abusive you need to know him and his family first hand. This type of behavior from the younger Me Me Me generation is even more common among all races and nationalities than ever before. We have done a messed job with our kids when they start to threaten and demand we give them CASH for their education. I had to pay for my own my parents didn't have it and i didn't demand they give it to me. Got my behind up and paid my own by loans, extra jobs and grants.

Perhaps he used words based upon her conduct. Just as she knew how to push his buttons to get the right results. All kids do it. Just as fingerprints are never the same so is one's style of parenting. Prejudging the situation is never a good idea especially without first hand experience of that family's interconnection. I just hope her motives are exactly what she states cos from there its hard to return to a good relationship considering she aired their business publicly. Good luck to both!

I'm really surprised that so many people think Mike Epps cursing his daughter and calling her a one-lung B, is good parenting. Some of you said a good beating is good for her. I only hope you do not have children. Mine are grown and they have to deal every day with hurt women who were mistreated and even beaten by their fathers and ex-boyfriends. The prisons are full of people who abused their kids. You need to get a clue, because the same kids you mistreat will come back and mistreat you or some innocent person. They haven't been taught any better.

I have not read many comments that outright support him going off on his daughter in this way. What I have been reading, is comment's from people who wonder about why he did it, and whether or not the daughter is just as vindictive as the mother, because Mike married and fathered children with another woman. There are always two sides to every story, and this Miss Innocent role being played by the daughter ain't working with most people.
