Davy Jones will be laid to rest in Florida.
According to The Washington Post, a private ceremony will be held in the Sunshine State. Jones had been living in Florida when he died suddenly on Wed., Feb. 29.
Public ceremonies will be held in New York and the UK.
"The Monkees" star died of a massive heart attack after spending a weekend with his family, according to Jones' representative. The medical examiner confirmed his cause of death. There had been no sign of illness that weekend as Jones and his wife, Jessica Pacheco, spent time with her family.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jones' family is asking for donations to be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or a local chapter. Jones' niece died from complications stemming from multiple sclerosis 17 years ago.
Jones shot to fame as a member of The Monkees and starred in the TV series of the same name from 1966-1968.
In addition to his wife Jessica, Jones is survived by four daughters from a previous marriage.
