Adele has inspired countless women throughout the world with her confident attitude and powerful lyrics, so it's no wonder females of all ages are belting out their own renditions of the Grammy winner's tunes.

Tara, a 13-year-old from Iran, is no different. In the video above, the teen croons to the lyrics of "Someone Like You" in a passionate cover of one Adele's most popular songs. And she's getting some rave reviews.

But according to Massoud Hayoun, a writer for the Atlantic's international section, the teen is also participating in an underground music movement at a time when female vocalists are banned in Iran. And he applauds her for her courage.

In a response to some concerns, the user who uploaded the video insists Tara has not broken any rules by posting the video. He adds that the teen is elated over the positive support she's received.

Although The Huffington Post has not independently verified these claims, the video has garnered nearly 100,000 views since it was posted on YouTube on Feb. 29, with many commenting that they're astounded that such a young girl could be behind the powerful voice.

But as we learned with Denise Bestman, age has nothing to do with talent.

The 11-year-old student sang Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" in a clip that was posted on YouTube in April. Months later, she appeared in a Target commercial advertising the singer's album.

With so many great renditions of Adele covers, it's difficult to pick a favorite. Click through the slideshow below to hear what these talented young people have to offer.

The sad thing about this is that she is most likely ashamed at what she did right now. Her culture has told her to hide this and now that it is in the open she is most likely in hiding.

100% FALSE. She's famous in Iran right now. Look it up.

Very nice. Didn't "blow my mind" though. Misleading titles have me viewing a lot of "nice" videos. Wish people would reserve the sensationalism for the jaw droppers. Feel like Huffington (and others) are crying wolf too often...

She looks pretty. She sounds great. Who cares whether she's real or not. You nay-sayers need to check in with the real world once in a while.

That was beautiful. Especially considering the fact that she probably doesn't even speak English, but sang the words so brilliantly. This always amazes me with foreign singers who sing English lyrics. Then add that to the fact that she is only 13 with that amount of talent.. Just imagine how much more phenomenal she'll sound the older she gets.

Just had a daydream where the Iranian headcrackers harm this girl- and it starts an "Iranian Spring".
After it's over, democracy begins in Iran- and we see this girl with a little Band-Aid on her head, giving the thumbs-up- uh-oh, here comes the boss...!
