Charlotte Casiraghi Gucci Ad Features Green & Red Stripes, No Horses Yet (PHOTO)

Well, that was fast.

Last week news hit the web that Charlotte Casiraghi, daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco and granddaughter of Princess Grace of Monaco, is Gucci's newest spokesmodel -- and today we've got her first ad for the brand's "Forever Now" campaign.

“Over the last two years I have had the pleasure and privilege to get to know Charlotte through our shared passion for horses. She not only embodies the beauty and the grace of the equestrian, but is also a wonderful ambassador for the sport," said Gucci creative director Frida Giannini, who's already teamed with Charlotte for a line of Gucci equestrian clothes.

Although there are no horses in the first ad, Charlotte is leaning quite prettily against what looks like a bale of (green?) hay. The ad, the first of four, was shot by Peter Lindbergh in an actual stable. Maybe for the next pic, which Gucci says will be shot by another famous fashion photog, we'll get some shots of the show jumper actually riding a horse? That'd be fun.

She's the most stunning Monegasque by far! A natural beauty. An accomplished rider. A university graduate. Beauty and brains-something her new aunt could never aspire to. AND fashion icon in Europe!

I agree but I'm not so sure about what you said about her new aunt. Why drag her into this. In any event her new aunt has a lot going for her--a lot including beauty, impeccable fashion sense and a many accomplishments such as being part of the Olympic swimming team for South Africa. That takes now only skill but lots of hard work, determination and devotion. There are many ways to enrich one's mind. There are many examples of people who have been hugely successful without every having stepped foot in a university. Greatness comes from within.

Beautiful ad! However she is far too skinny - her bony broad shoulders stick out. She is built very much like her aunt Stephanie - a swimmer's build with very broad shoulders and slim hips. I wonder if she has been anorexic - she is tall and sometimes has an extremely thin look. Caroline was much healthier looking at that age.

Her grandmother is Grace Kelly-- those are good genes too...does her mother and aunt smoke their looks have aged...dramatically--
