Not that long ago, Lady Gaga's infamous meat dress seemed controversial, but now it's in danger of spawning an entire meat suit industry.
On "Dance Moms" (Tues., 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime) Abby Lee Miller's nemesis Cathy Nesbitt was inspired by Gaga to create a hilarious, yet creepy, beef jerky costume -- including a "fabulous" jerky necklace -- for little Chloe to wear in a commercial shoot.
Chloe and her mom Christi didn't look too enthusiastic, so Cathy extolled the virtues of the costume: "After you're done, you can eat all of the beef jerky that's on your costume." Yum!
"Oh good," said Christi unconvincingly.
Chloe said she was upset at first but then, ever the pro, she decided to just treat it like any other acting job.
When a hesitant Chloe came out of the changing room, the Candy Apple Girls tried to encourage her and Cathy gushed, "You look fabulous!"
However, beef jerky clearly has some way to go before it will be the apparel of choice. "You might have to keep your distance," warned Cathy, "because you stink a little bit."
Directing Chloe, Cathy told her what her motivation should be for the role: "I'm fabulous meat!"
See what other crazy costumes the "Dance Moms" come up with, Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
