Robert F. Kennedy Jr: Jim Inhofe Is 'Big Oil's Top Call Girl'

Not all the drama on Tuesday night involved Super Tuesday.

Robert Kennedy Jr. issued a strong criticism of Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) on Twitter.

"Speaking of prostitutes, big oil's top call girl Sen Inhofe wants to kill fuel economy backed by automakers, small biz, enviros, & consumers," he tweeted.

Inhofe is an outspoken critic of the Environmental Protection Agency and has referred to climate change as "the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people." Recently, he sent a letter to EPA head Lisa Jackson demanding a probe of the agency's activities.

Kennedy works for the Natural Resources Defense Council and, according to ABC, was once considered for the EPA's top position.

"It's hard to believe that Robert Kennedy Jr. would choose to use such language -- especially this week," an Inhofe spokesman told Politico, referring to Rush Limbaugh's recent controversy, in which the talk radio host called Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute" for speaking out in favor of the Obama administration's contraception mandate. "I bet he now regrets it."

Kennedy, however, doesn't seem to be backing down. In an apparent shot back at Inhofe, Kennedy on Wednesday tweeted, "To my critics: What do you call a politician -- democrat or republican -- who sells the public interest for money?"

Robert Kennedy Jr. overpraises the politician with the "call girl" reference. The bible clearly respects the madam with Rahab the madam being the lead in the actual blood lineage of, who was that guy, oh, yeah, King David, "The" King David, after the line of Ruth and Boaz, of course. James Inhofe has taken money from the dirtiest sources. He is advancing the agenda of "Big Oil" Exxon/Koch; no regulations, subsidies etc.at the expense of the taxpayers who elected him and pay his salary.He just released a book which apparently was written by someone else advancing junk science about climate change.

RFK Jr isn't changing anyone's mind at this point. He's either speaking to the AGW choir or further alienating himself from Moderates and Independents. One thing is clear- he's addicted to publicity no matter how he gets it. Odd that a person keeps inviting the same criticism year after year but that is what happens every time he opens his mouth and the media runs with it. Go away RFK.

I wonder what Inhofe's state of OK will look like in 20 years- or even 10 years from the devastating effects of climate change? A 1 degree C rise over the Pre Industrial records from paleo climates of the past has led to the region becoming a dust bowl desert.- Hotter then Hades from May to October? Meaning 100 degrees or more every day- massive droughts, punctuated by torrential downpours. Insect plagues of biblical proportions. Agriculture will be gone- but those oil wells will be still there- pumping away. Stay tuned folks- its going to be a hell of ride this century- and most of it very bad indeed for so many.

Isn't it ironic that free marketers complain about the price of gasoline, but they do nothing to push down demand by conserving it, thereby missing an easy chance to bring the "free market" price of it down!

I guess they only believe in the free market in theory, not in practice! Or they are simply owned, led, and manipulated by the fossil fuel industry whether they know it or like it or not.

BTW, I am really disappointed in RFK jr. Sex workers do a dangerous usually poorly paid job, many through no choice of their own and they shouldn't be compared to someone like Inhofe. Inhofe is constantly doing the bidding of his petroleum masters, while turning a blind eye to the potential devastation that his policies are liable to have on future generations of humans. His is not a victimless crime.

But in the mean time, will it offend anyone if we just shorten his name to Jimmy Ho?

What is the big deal? If any family intimately knows call girls and s-uts, it would be the Kennedy's. If a Kennedy labels someone as a call girl, it is probably true, experience is the best teacher.

I believe I wrote "probably" but on the surface I would agree. However, I would also agree that ALL politicians are prostitutes for some cause, undertaking, group, belief, and so on. The ones you have to look out for are politicians who really have no belief system or cause they are willing to expose to the voters. By the way, I have no idea who Senator Inhofe is but he is a politician.
