In anticipation of the "Super Tuesday" Republican primaries, Stephen Colbert was prepared to finally profess his love and support for GOP front-runner Mitt Romney. However, with Romney losing 4 of the 10 states on Tuesday, Colbert was not yet prepared to yield and accept Romney as the surefire opposition to Barack Obama.
Colbert's "Countdown To Loving Mitt" clock was dangerously close to zero, but thankfully, he was able to hit the snooze button in the nick of time and push it back another four days until Saturday's primaries in "The Big Three": Wyoming, Guam, and the Virgin Islands.
Colbert then discussed the alternatives to Romney, adding that "if Santorum and Gingrich keep this up, anyone could get the nomination." Are we in for a shock Palin 2012 run?
