Tommy And Dee Hilfiger Open Up Their Home (PHOTOS)

What do Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee have in common? Not only do they both have clothing lines (Dee recently launched a collection DEESIGNS for HSN and Tommy's preppy brand needs no introduction), but the two also love wearing Christian Louboutin shoes. While Tommy's might not be stilettos, his pair is surprisingly flashy.

I admire items in the Hilfiger clothing line but I sure don't admire their home...that is the weirdest mishmash of a collection I have ever seen, it's so unsettling; it's one thing to love shoes, it's another to make your home an awkward shrine to them. I can't imagine how they find any creativity to do their designing while surrounded by such visual chaos. They need a good interior designer.

Hate all the clothes and shows all over the place. What's that all about? But, and a big but, is OMG the art work. I always feel that collectors like they are should share their art with the world and I would hope the family will loan some of these Harding, Warhols etc. out for us all to appreciate. This just proves the old saying, "Money doesn't buy taste."

His Lake Tahoe estate is the former Wayne Newton property. There were no buildings on the property at acquisition. The setting on the NV side, is on 234 acres looking west and unbelievably a piece of work that only someone with TH income level could afford.
Like John McCain and Mittens Mormony, he must have a dozen homes.
