The only reason herb is not legal is because drug money is too hard to refuse, legal or illegal.

I have a neighbor that was born just a few days after I was. He has smoked tobacco for most of his life while I only used cannabis and alcohol in moderation. I look much younger than my years while he looks very much older. A healthier lifestyle has a lot to do with appearance.

I have a friend who couldn't afford the sleep meds her doctor prescribed. So she got her adult son to "hook her up". Now she sleeps like a baby at about a third of the cost for prescription meds.

Hmmmm, now we can see why big pharma doesn't want it legalized....

My 83 year old mother uses MMJ for her fibromyalgia which did not respond to the dangerous opiates that were prescribed by her doctors. It changed her whole attitude about the laws against cannabis.

Marijuana is part of american history, its part of Biblical history also: (Genesis 1:29-31)..our forefathers from christopher columbus, george washington, thomas jefferson, these are the ones we celebrate with holidays each year, supported and encourage everyone to grow the hemp plant, matter of fact it would be against the law if you didn't grow weed..i didn't mention the medical benefits of pot..and the media don't tell you about the lab test at UCLA, that prove marijuana slow and stopped spread of cancer in patients, the natural leaf that God gave has many uses, but that would take away from the pharmaceutical companies, and keep us taking the little white pills that will eventually wear down our kidneys and liver..i'm going to stop because i can go on and on and i feel like i'm a voice that can't be heard....i feel like this country and the people that is running it are hypocrites...i'm a desert storm veteran, so i feel like i should be able to say what i want..i fought for that red, white, and blue flag(oh yeah, the first flag, the one they taught us about in school..betsy ross...was made with hemp, also, the first draft of the declaration of independence, and the constitution, which was later drafted to parchment..let me stop because i can kkeep going, but don't believe me do your research

Actually cannabis has been an important part of both human and American history. Marijuana was a slang term used by Mexican migrant workers until it was linked in the tabloid style newspapers of William Randolf Hearst in the first decades of the 20th century. I put a website together http://www.rmforbes.net to make research easier.

So true. I have a medical card, so I'm legal. Really need it though. It helps more for pain than any prescription meds, without the terrible side effects.

i know! my beautiful wife struggled with multiple sclerosis for the last 16 years of her life and the only medication that worked for her was pot. so every two weeks for sixteen years i risked arrest to score an o for her. and of course that was out of pocket as our very expensive insurance would not cover such a thing. hard times!
