Anna Gristina's accused accomplice, Jaynie Mae Baker, is expected to surrender to authorities as early as Monday or Tuesday this week.
Prosecutors charged Baker, 30, and Gristina in connection with the alleged operation of a high-end brothel. Each was indicted on a single felony count of promoting prostitution, and Baker has been sought by police since Gristina's arrest on Feb. 22. If convicted, Baker faces up to seven years in prison.
According to The Daily News, friends of Baker have dismissed the possibility she has fled and claim Baker is just on vacation with family.
Baker is also being tied to former NYPD officer Sly Francis, who allegedly worked as Gristina's bodyguard. Ironically, the same district attorney's office where Francis had been employed is now the same office looking to prosecute the Madam Millionaire.
As for Gristina, she is due back in court on Monday. Her lawyer Peter Gleason has reportedly offered his Tribeca apartment as collateral in exchange for Gristina to be released from Riker's Island, where she is being held on $2 million bail.
Since her arrest, the bizarre life of the 44-year old mother of four has been scrutinized, as revelations of her illicit risque career, coupled with her odd pig rescuing hobbies have hit the media.
An employee at Morgan Stanley who is believed to have provided financial counsel to Gristina has also been put on leave from the company.
