Brad Garrett Eyes Sitcom Comeback

Brad Garrett is heading to ABC. According to TVLine, the "Everybody Loves Raymond" star will play husband to Elizabeth Perkins and dad to Sarah Chalke on "How To Live With Your Parents For the Rest of Your Life."

In the ABC sitcom pilot, Chalke stars as a recently divorced mom who moves back in with her parents played by Perkins and Garrett. Garrett's character, Max, is a cancer survivor.

After "Raymond," Garrett went on to star in Fox's "'Til Death" for four seasons from 2006-2010. During that time, he ran into trouble due to racially-charged scuffle he had with a photographer.

In other casting news ...

"2 Broke Girls" actor Nick Zano has joined "Prairie Dogs."
Zano will co-star opposite Kal Penn in the comedy about an office worker who has his identity stolen. Zano will play the thief to Penn's office worker. [TVLine]

Martha Stewart will pay Max and Caroline a visit on "2 Broke Girls."
The girls attempt to get Stewart, who will play herself on the May 7 episode of the CBS comedy, to taste their cupcakes. [CBS]

"Legend of the Seeker" star Craig Horner is heading to The CW.
Horner will star in "Joey Dakota" as the titular character, a dead 1990s rock star who is the subject of a documentary. "Greek" actress Amber Stevens co-stars as Maya, the documentary filmmaker who travels back in time, meets and falls in love with Joey Dakota, and then struggles to save him from death. [TVLine]

Stephen Hawking will appear on "The Big Bang Theory."
Hawking will play himself and have a "run-in" with Sheldon. [TV Guide]
