'Real Housewives of Atlanta': Cynthia Gets Into It With Her Sister (VIDEO)

What’s an episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” without a little drama? On this week’s episode Cynthia was confronted by her sister Malorie about the actions of her husband Peter during an anniversary party.

To Malorie’s dismay, her brother-in-law threw a few verbal jabs towards her during his toast. And as expected, the event left Cynthia in a position to defend her husband.

“I want to be with Peter and if I didn’t I wouldn’t be with him…this is my life, live for your life,” she expressed to Malorie before responding; “If Peter was any type of man knowing that I’m your sister, he should’ve been up in my face saying, ‘you know what, let’s talk about it.’ He should’ve came over here and tried to talk to me tonight, but he has not done that, so stop taking up for him.”

Because I have such a happy relationship and I will always support others having the same, I am done with this post having said what I needed to say on the issue. Cynthia has no backbone.

Her sister and mother see the snake that Peter is but handled it all wrong at the wedding. A year later Peter is still disrespectful to her sister and picked the wrong time and place to display it. If you ever really listen to how he talks to Cynthia, it's always negative. Always. I've never heard one conversation from him that wasn't laced with passive aggressive undertones and you see her processing the rudeness with a fractured smile instead of challenging his sh*t. She had one real backbone moment when they talked with their pastor about some of their marriage problems but by the next episode had completely caved again.

Cynthia's good "industry" friend from NY doesn't think Peter is good enough for her either but he doesn't really say anything to her. That I find unfortunate. She could be a powerhouse business woman, model and mother but she has her blinders on about Peter and hasn't found her power yet. Maybe one day but not this one.

I think that Peter was a little rude with the "everyone, but Mal", but she did mess up their wedding day for him. Payback can be a B*tch! So having said that, I think that the sister should apologize for hiding the marriage certificate and move on. They do not have to like each other, but you can be cordial with each other. Hell, I don't like a few of my in-laws for some stupid stuff they have done, but I am cordial when I have to see them. Anyway, Mal is not married to Peter, Cynthia is! I don't think he should have to step to her first because it was wrong what she did, she should come to him and put that mess to rest. No matter if Peter is getting money form Cynthia or not, he didn't put a gun to her head to get it, well of course it hasn't been shown if he was. Plus, I don't see Cynthia trying to pay Peter to hold on to him. I was always told misery loves company! Maybe Mal mad at Peter for taking money that she could be getting from her sister....

Malorie needs to tell her sister "I love you, but going forward I do not care to hear about your issues in your relationship with your husband. We do not care for each other, and I will not be able to hold my tongue, so to keep the drama at bay, let's not share that info with each other" and then let Cynthia take it from there...Peter is not a nice man at all, and this was evident before they married and how he handled money...

I think that Mal means well, but a woman's marriage is doomed to fail if she doesn't stand by her husband. Mal, being married, needs to understand that. They will be fine as sisters though, there's a lot of love there, but Mal needs to let her sister live her life.. Many people are saying that Cynthia needs to stop telling Mal her business, but who else is she going to tell.. Mal needs to learn now to listen, that is the only way that she is going to keep her sister in her life. this entire situation is nothing new..

Okay first let me say I'm not a watcher of the show. I don't do reality shows that represent us in sucha negative light for money sake. It appears that this threesome is giving it all they have to remain lucrative. With all that said I have just one question and all the diehard fans of the show can help me out.

Where is Mal's husband that he would continue to allow HIS wife to be disrespected by his sister & brother in-law? I mean at some point shouldn't Mal's husband defend her as much as Cynthia defends her husband.

One last bit of advice Malorie needs to learn what type of sister she is suppose to be at this time, because the rolls change. At this point (after they marry) she should know how to listen without commenting, giving advice or anything. Just be there to listen and when all is said the response is "I love you & I'm always here for you". The more you fight it the closer they get if you want him gone you flow with it. Sometimes people already know, they can bad mouth a person, you just can't and this is where Cynthia is. She's in it now she's got to try and make it work but when she's had enough she'll it wil click. My two cent and I have never and I promise you watch this show one time.

Wow! aren't you quite the little drama queen. Okay take it down just a little, I wasn't talking life or death, just perhaps holding her tongue until it reaches that point. Sometimes a person is talking because they need a person to LISTEN not get involved or throw it back at them that's all I'm saying. I stated I've never seen the show, just remeber the face from a magazine and read the article, no need to create you own drama filled reality show. Well over 30 so I hope its okay to just talk to you.

I am truly feeling for Cynthia on this one. It is not just her sister, but her mother as well. EVERY feeling/concern is valid but they are going to lose their daughter/sister if they keep up with this behavior. The husband will win. And it is THEIR BUSINESS, not her family's, about what they do with their lives. Mal just went over the top at the end. i don't know why they deleted your last comment, but this was my response to it. huffpost is so fickle sometimes, smh..................i'm like you. i, too, don't like abusive men, verbally so or otherwise. i believe that he's a bit abrasive because he's trying to come in between the closeness of Cyn and her family. insecure men always find ways to take women away from anything that they deem could become competition, as they think that a woman's world should revolve only around him. but all-in-all, Cyn married him, and with marriage comes those vows about cleaving to one another. if people want to follow that vow and others to the letter, they really should make better choices about the person they marry. also, since Peter is Cyn's problem, Mal should do the wait-and-see. anytime someone turns their backs on a loyal person, they will always need them again.

you are right though, she is a "model." LOL!

Mal wants Peter to stop sponging off her sister. Mal wants her sister to stop being his doormat (he asked Cynthia if she was sneaking up on him in their own house! How does one do that at home?). At this point, Mal probably wants Cynthia to stop telling her all the bad things Peter does to her. When things are going badly for Cynthia, she's all up in Mals ear complaining about how Peter treats her. When things are going good, she expects her family to have amnesia over Peter's behavior.

That should have been her wake up call. She stood there like a phool, calling his name. He just can't take it when Cynthia does well.

AND he continues to ask her for money. It was his idea to throw the party, but he needed her to ante up at the last minute. Trifling. If I were Mal, I'd mind my own business too. I wouldn't answer Cynthia's calls. I wouldn't attend any of her parties. I would stop helping her when things get rough. I would be in Europe with my husband.
