'Smash' Bringing Back Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas is returning to "Smash" for the NBC drama's Season 1 finale. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jonas will reprise the role of Lyle West when "Smash" ends its first season on Mon., May 14 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

Jonas first appeared in "Smash's" fourth episode as a former Broadway baby and current sitcom star who previously worked with a Tom (Christian Borle), Derek (Jack Davenport) and Eileen (Anjelica Huston). Lyle ended up investing in the Marilyn Monroe musical at the heart of the show.

Chad Michael Murray will star in ABC's "Scruples."
Murray will appear as fashion photographer Spider Elliott in the new soap based Judith Krantz's book. [THR]

"30 Rock" actress Katrina Bowden is moving to "New Girl."
Bowden will guest star as a possible love interest for Nick. [E! Online]

"The Closer" actor Raymond Cruz will guest star on "White Collar."
Cruz will play Sheriff Enrico Morales, a corrupt lawman who crosses paths with Neal. [TV Guide]

"24" actress Necar Zadegan has joined the cast of "First Cut."
Zadegan will play a no-nonsense surgeon opposite Mamie Gummer and Justin Hartley in The CW's medical drama pilot. [THR]

"CSI" is bringing back Enrique Murciano.
The "Without a Trace" actor, who first appeared in Season 10, will attempt to salvage the legacy of his stepfather Det. Sam Vega (Geoffrey Rivas). [EW]
