'Cougar Town' Stages 'Scrubs' Reunion, Including A Couple Surprises (VIDEO)

When Travis ran away to Hawaii on "Cougar Town" (Tue., 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC), he ran into Ted Buckland (Sam Lloyd) from "Scrubs." It was the same actor and the same character across the two Bill Lawrence shows, but Lloyd wasn't the only returning "Scrubs" alumnus in attendance on this week's "Cougar Town," though he was the only character.

Ted and his a cappella group showed up in Florida for a competition, bunking at Jules' place for a while. There he saw Ellie (Christa Miller) -- who looks a lot like Jordan Sullivan from his old job -- sitting next to Bobby's new girlfriend, played by Sarah Chalke -- who of course looks identical to Dr. Elliot Reid.

Suddenly, Ted started freaking out realizing that the women here looked like women he knew there, and then they started picking up their mannerisms. Suddenly, Ken Jenkins dropped in to check on his daughter -- Jenkins also played Bob Kelso on "Scrubs" -- the pizza delivery guy looked just like J.D. (Zach Braff) and after Ted backed into the doorway and collapsed, The Todd (Robert Maschio) leaned in with a "You all right, five?"

While Miller is a regular on "Cougar Town," Jenkins has been recurring for a while, and Chalke joined the cast in a recurring capacity last week as Travis' professor and Bobby's new love interest, the inclusion of Braff and Maschio was a complete surprise.

While the "Scrubs" reunion may be over -- or it may not -- "Cougar Town" continues Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
