Kimberly Sauto, Tap Dance Teacher, Sentenced To One Year In Jail For Sex With Teen (VIDEO)

Kimberly Sauto, 34, was sentenced to one year in prison for having sex with a 15-year-old boy.

A 34-year-old tap dancing teacher was sentenced Tuesday to a year in prison for boozing up a 15-year-old student and having a long-term sexual relationship with him.

Kimberly Sauto, a married mother of two, told investigators that she still loved the North Ridgeville, Ohio boy whom she'd met at her own tap dancing class, the Beacon Journal reported.

Sauto's debauchery came to light when her husband found condoms in her dance bag and text messages between her and the victim on her phone, prosecutors said. Her husband reported her to police and she was found guilty of sexual conduct with a minor in January, according to News Channel 5.

During her case, Sauto maintained that she kissed the victim and communicated with him on a regular basis, but that she never had sexual contact. The victim testified otherwise. The two had sex several times, he said.

Presiding Judge Judy Howell said that Sauto "continued to have sexual fantasies about the victim" and admitted to "pleasuring herself" during the fantasies as late as Feb. 10 after she was reported to cops, according to the Beacon Journal.

Sauto, wearing a ponytail and gray-striped jail clothes and shackles, wept openly in court as her sentence was read.

"As you sentence me," she told Hunter, "I'm asking for mercy, not just for myself but for my children and my family."

Her children are aged 5 and 9.

Sauto's yearlong sentence will be reduced by 53 days because of her time already served after her conviction, in which Howell forced her to stay behind bars without bail.

Because this woman live in the same county as I, her name, photo, and residence is plastered all over the county due to the sexual offender notification law. Though she received a lighter sentence than a male, she is paying for her misdeeds as she is recognized wherever she go. Supervised visits with her children, ad no contact with any other children. The principle people having problems with her are women with children.

What is attractive about 15 year old boys to any adult woman? Even physically. It's likely they have acne and or braces. They are "into" clothes, music, movies (culture) that adults cannot identify with. If you talk to them for 10 minutes you can tell that they haven't finished maturing mentally or emotionally. I have reached the conclusion that some women ENJOY playing the "mommy" role in relationships.

Cos at round about that age @lipisa a young guy is approaching the peak of his sexual performance and a woman doesnt reach hers until her 40's (?). And unless there is something wrong with me I remember fondly my sexual encounters at that age (mrs robinson, summer the first time - Bobby Goldsboro????), all over in minutes but ready again in seconds, now I spend all night trying to do what I used to do all night ;-)

I appreciate your response and honesty. I understand teenage boys aren't particularly selective. I just thought women were. Maybe that's a stereotype. I'm a woman in her mid-40's, I'm peri-menopausal, this is the lowest my sex drive has ever been. I was most interested in my late 20's. But even then, a teenager? Ugh. But, like I said, I don't get the mommy (or daddy) dynamic in romantic relationships.

We need to lower the age of consent, and we need to stop lumping everyone with the "pedophile" label. There's a huge difference between molesting a pre-pubescent child and having sex with a sexually developed teen. We can frown on it all as if the age of 18 had some special built-in magic (it doesn't), but we should criminalize things only according to the harm they cause, not according to our personal distaste. In the case of consensual, non-coerced, non-exploitive sex, there is no harm.

Interesting question. I just found out recently that they were right there, all along, having sex with their students - at least in my high school. It just didn't get any press, and one of them ended up marrying the student he'd been having sex with since she was in 10th grade. Another was pressured to leave town after it was discovered he was having sex with some of the girls who went to dances he chaperoned.

Once again, the double standard is obvious. But what baffles me is that no one addresses the double standard. Not politicians, nor judges, nor journalists. It's the elephant in the room, and I can't believe that authorities just ignore it, as if it doesn't exist. If we as a society say that adults having sex with children is wrong, then we should prosecute offenders equally, regardless of the gender of the offender.

This makes me think back to 10th grade when I had the biggest crush on my math teacher, Mrs. Mazula. I didn't learn much math because my thoughts kept drifting ( I can't believe I passed that class). I still can't recall much of what I learned back then, but I can see those gorgeous legs just as clear today as I did 30 years ago.

There are some things you just never forget.

Mrs. Mazula was a responsible teacher (and dedicated wife). Her interests lied only in helping her students to be the best they could be. Unfortunately, this dance instructor will not share such fond memories.

How can a 34 yo woman even be sexually attracted to a 15 yo? Not to mention, what the hell does a 15 yo want with an "old" lady? I'm older than her but we're old to a 15 yo! And she has 2 kids!! I can pretty much bet her tummy is that sexy tummy of say a 15 yo girl. What could he see in her? Like the wrinkles and flabby belly? ewwww! Maybe his standards are a bit low, maybe he was just willing to take anything he can get, maybe he just not all that attractive to 15 yo girls..... but I do know one thing, he's awfully lucky the hubby called police and didn't take it into his own hands.
