For the Miami Heat's official music man DJ Irie -- see his answer in the video above -- it all had to do with a party.
"The moment I knew I loved Miami is all about this right here," the globe-trotting DJ said from his 12th Miami Heat family festival. "I knew I loved Miami because the first [family festival] I saw the people of Miami come together all around one cause, all around supporting our city, and we all do it together, having fun.
"That's what family's about," he added. "It's about having fun, it's about togetherness, all kinds of people, different races, different backgrounds, you name it! We all come together, we have a great time, and we take care of ours -- our city."
Indeed. Perhaps no one sees the whole city come together like Irie, who'll host his 8th annual Irie Weekend benefitting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida in June.
