Lady Gaga has always been very open with the press, from revealing intimate details about her love life to shock jock Howard Stern to sharing her struggles with bulimia.
That's all about to change because Lady Gaga is going silent.
On Sunday night's episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter," the "Born This Way" singer told Oprah that she won't be doing any more interviews "for a very long time."
"The latest thing I do is I don't read a damn thing," said Gaga, as she explained her new creative process. "No press, no television. If my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about?' I don't want to know nothing about anything that is going on in relation to music. I shut it all off."
This could explain why Gaga appeared to shun media at the Grammys last month.
Gaga also opened up about her desire to settle down and become a mother. "I want kids. I want a soccer team, and I want a husband," she told Oprah.
The singer is currently dating "Vampire Diaries" star Taylor Kinney. Gaga and Kinney first met on the set of her "You and I" music video, and it seems like things are going great for the couple. Gaga has reportedly been crashing at Kinney's California home since January, and the pair spent some time over the holidays in Kinney's hometown of Lancaster, Penn.
