Erin Martin ignites controversy on "The Voice"

Monday night on "The Voice," Erin Martin took center stage in the Battle Round, facing off against the Shields Brothers in a battle of Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It?" While both performances were uneven, coach Cee Lo Green made the decision to let Martin advance to the next portion of the competition, a move that sparked controversy among his fellow coaches and viewers alike.

Martin performed the song while wearing a "sexy spacesuit outfit," and while Blake Shelton seemed to enjoy it, Adam Levine remarked that her performance made him feel "uncomfortable."

Viewers expressing their displeasure with the decision on Twitter seemed to agree. Many criticized Cee Lo for making the call based on Martin's looks, and not her voice. Martin herself didn't seem to mind the negative publicity. She tweeted, "Thank you lovers and haters!! You made #ErinMartin trending!"
