Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 8 ounces chopped white chocolate
  • 4 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • FOR SERVING:
  • Whipped cream
  • Shaved white chocolate
  • Chai spice

Directions

  • Heat milk, cream, chopped white chocolate and chai spice blend in a saucepan, whisking.
  • Pour into 4 mugs; top with whipped cream, shaved white chocolate and chai spice.

Delicious! The "Rani" brand chai spice mix (masala chai) is probably the one that will most appeal to western palates, but the "Nivram" brand is also quite good... (though a bit more peppery and intense!) Both can usually be found in Indian (and some Asian) markets. I keep both on hand depending on what I'm cooking and whether I have time to make my own spice blend or not.
