Tim Tebow Jets: Quarterback Considering Trade To New York Team? (TWEETS)

The New York Jets have joined the circus vying for Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. After all, if the Broncos do trade the quarterback it won't cost the Jets much, with a salary about $1 million for the upcoming season.

But does Tebow want the Jets? From the Times:

The most appealing destinations for Tebow presumably would be teams with unstable quarterback situations, giving him a chance to start — or at least compete for a job. Jacksonville and Miami qualify. The Jets do not, having recently guaranteed $20.5 million to Sanchez in a new five-year contract that established him as their franchise quarterback.

A big factor in the decision is how Tebow will react to the Jets' existing star quarterback. The Jets Blog weighs the Pros and Cons of each.

The Daily News thinks Jets should leave Tebow alone, and instead focus on their starter Sanchez.

Whatever the outcome, Yahoo Sports says that the idea would lead to possibly the most entertaining (or divisive?) team in the NFL.

Whether this rumored experiment turns out to be surprisingly successful or an unmitigated disaster, the Jets, with the NFL's most polarizing player on their team—coached by quite a polarizing figure in Rex Ryan—would be impossibly riveting.
