That didn't take long. After a long day of Tim Tebow trade drama culminated with the quarterback (again) getting shipped to New York, Jets head coach Rex Ryan got a little taste of what it will be like to have the former Heisman Trophy winner on his roster.
According to the video description, Ryan was at a bar in Baton Rouge, LA when two fans asked to take a picture with him. But when the man taking the picture counted to three, the two fans dropped to their knees and performed the act of Tebowing.
Ryan couldn't do anything but smile and sit right back down.
Just because Tebow was shipped out of Denver doesn't mean it's the end of Tebowing as we know it.
"Tim has a massive fan base around the world that loves him, so no matter where he's playing or what colors he's wearing, people will be Tebowing," Tebowing.com creator Jared Kleinstein told The Huffington Post. "We're going to keep it up either way, because while Manning may be a hall of famer, the gesture of Tebowing has become something much bigger than just supporting the Broncos. Heck, Robert Downey Jr. Tebowed at the Oscars, and he's probably a Jets fan."
With Tebowmania now coming to the Big Apple (barring any other snags), Ryan should probably get used to see that.
