Cynthia Nixon Bald

Cynthia Nixon may be feeling the breeze atop her bald head, but her son Max certainly has enough hair for the both of them. Mom and her 13-month-old baby boy stepped out in New York City Thursday afternoon, Max held close by the 45-year-old actress as they maneuvered the city streets, dodging paparazzi on the way.

The pair hailed a cab headed uptown with an older female, dropped her off and continued on their way.

Nixon's locks-lacking look isn't just a spring cut; the actress said goodbye to her fiery red mane when she landed her Broadway role in "Wit" -- which tells the story of a poetry professor who undergoes cancer treatment.

Max is the first child for Nixon and her fiancee, Christine Marinoni.

Check out these actresses who similarly said "adios" to their locks to land a role.
