Jaimie Hilfiger: The Next Kim Kardashian? (PHOTOS)

Is Jaimie Hilfiger The Next Kim Kardashian?

While plenty of stars slam the Kardashians as if they were the source of all the world's problems, we are occasionally reminded that some people really love them -- and want to be them.

We'd like to introduce you to Jaimie Hilfiger, niece of Tommy, cousin of Ally and Kim Kardashian wannabe. The "supermodel" (as she is billed by her representation) said it herself to the Daily Front Row in a chatty, upbeat interview published this week. Jaimie is a model, HuffPost blogger and aspiring red carpet star, whose most marketable trait might not be her body, although she is quite pretty, but rather her refreshingly candid nature.

She chatted about her career goals with the Daily Front Row:

Do you want to be the next Kim Kardashian?

I do! I mean, I don’t want to come out with a sex tape, and I definitely want to present myself in a more classy way. I don’t want to be known as—excuse my language—a media whore. I did not grow up with a stage mom, unfortunately. Kim is extremely smart. Her mother is one of the smartest people, actually.

Her revelation, she said, came when she took her undergraduate degree in broadcasting out for a spin:

I studied broadcasting, because I really wanted to be an on-air entertainment reporter. After college, I moved out to Hollywood and hooked up with a publicist. She put me on the red carpet and I was like, “I actually want to be on this side of the red carpet."

The way there, of course, is to take the Kim Kardashian route (no, not a sex tape): a reality show. "I’m in talks with a major network to star in my own reality show," Jaimie says, and is also planning on launching her own line of loungewear.

She added, "I’m a huge fan [of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills']. I grew up in New York, and ever since I could talk, I’ve been saying the word “California." Now that I actually live in Beverly Hills, I love it. I'm too young to join the show, but I’m in training. Obviously, I want that lifestyle."

Baldly ambitious? Sure. But with so many aspiring reality starlets out there, perhaps it's refreshing to hear someone speak honestly about their intentions.

Or perhaps, despite her famous last night, Jaimie will be just another reality TV character in the sprawling landscape of Celebrity-ville.
