Trayvon Martin Killing: Taiwanese Company Makes Animated Reconstruction (VIDEO)

A Taiwanese media company known for animating major international news events has created an animated reconstruction of the Trayvon Martin killing.

Next Media Animations created “Trayvon Martin Death: A Reconstruction,” which, according to the Taiwan-based company, serves to “explain the events leading up to and following Martin’s death from the accounts of Zimmerman and Martin’s girlfriend.”

The animated reconstruction includes excerpts from audio 911 recordings made the night of the shooting.

While the reconstruction is based only on the company’s depiction of the events that night, it does, perhaps for the first time, put in live motion what could have happened on Feb. 26, the night Martin was killed.

Martin, 17, was killed by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain who said he shot the teen in self-defense. Just minutes before the shooting, Zimmerman called 911 and reported Martin as a “suspicious” person. The dispatcher told Zimmerman to stand down and to wait for police officers to arrive. But Zimmerman followed Martin, confronting him and eventually shooting him in the chest with a 9mm handgun. The details of the night vary widely, depending on who is recalling them.

The police said that Zimmerman told investigators that he followed the teen, and as he got out of his vehicle to note the nearest address to give to officers, Martin attacked him. But witness accounts and an account given to Martin’s lawyers by Martin’s 16-year-old girlfriend paint a different picture all together. The unidentified girl said that she was on the phone with Martin moments before he was killed. She said that Martin told her that he was being followed by a stranger. At one point she said that she heard a man asking Martin what he was doing there. Then she heard a scuffle, the phone fell to the ground, and the line went dead.

The police questioned Zimmerman but soon let him go, saying that they did not have enough evidence to charge him with a crime. Zimmerman remains free.

Martin’s killing has sparked national outrage and protests calling for Zimmerman’s arrest.

Zimmerman disobeyed 911 dispatcher to not to follow if he noted a suspicious persons. Let the Police handle the situation that's their job. Any way of all this, first of all, George Zimmerman, I believe went out of line because being "Neighborhood Watcher" should indicate only to see if someone is doing something illegal as acted on seen NOT by noting someone looking suspicious and take immediate actions. Trayvon's phone records show he was on p0hone with his girlfriend @ 7:12 pm, according to her she heard him ask Zimmerman, why are you following me. At 7:17 pm the police showed up... Trayvon was dead on the ground. Within these 5 mins lay the life & death of Trayvon Martin.

These are the facts of this case Zimmerman while on neighborhood watch spotted a black male walk through his gated community.He called the police non emergency number and reported this to the police stating that the person was acting funny and must be on drugs. Zimmerman began to follow Martin on foot and was told by the dispatcher that he shouldn’t do that… Zimmerman continued….Martin was on the phone with his girlfriend and she stated that Martin told her that he was being followed. she heard Martin ask someone “Hey why are you following me?” she then heard a male voice ask “what are you doing here?” then the phone went dead. Zimmerman stated that Martin attacked him and he tried to flee back to his truck. He stated that he was knocked down by Martin causing the gash to the rear of his head. Zimmerman stated that Martin then started beating him , breaking his nose a witness saw this happen, at this point many neighbors called 911 to report that someone was screaming for help, on one of the 911 calls you can clearly hear Zimmerman repeatedly screaming for help and then a gunshot. A witness saw this happen. Zimmerman stated that he shot Martin while he was on top of him beating him…the police conducted a complete investigation including crime scene and detectives…due to witness statement corroborating Zimmerman statement he was not arrested at the scene but a grand jury is pending …

Zimmerman's father is a respected retired judge... his mother is a court clerk... think maybe they had something to do with this cover-up???? So now Zimmerman is suppose to have a broken nose? Did he require immediate medical attention or a week later when his story came under scrutiny? Also Trayvon was found face down... How could Zimmerman be standing over him - he shot the young man as he tried to run home - in the back. One witness said that he saw Trayvon on top - obviously that changed as Zimmerman pulled his gun. The young man pleaded for his life - Zimmerman in his rage fired point blank .
Now did the police joke about how the poor teen "wasn't going to to robbing anyone that night"? Were they complicit in this crime - I believe YES. Thank GOD the FBI is there to investigate everything. I think in order to get a conviction, they may have to resume him... Did Trayvon have any scars from the fight? Was it Trayvon's blood on the clothes of Zimmerman? I bet YES. Bet you witness tampering had already begun - judges son and police reputation at stake... take him DOWN and BRING him IN.

My take is both scenarios happened. When Zimmerman started to try to take hold of Trayvon by pushing him or grabbing him, they fell to the ground, and Trayvon started fighting back, at one moment he was able to get on top. Zimmerman prevailed and pulled out his gun - Zimmerman got up and shot him in the chest.

for all we know . Zimmermann is probably devouring all those articles about him online. since he ain't been arrested yet. Guilt is going to devour him alive , and when he'll finally come face to face with the parents of the deceased teen .I hope he'll have a heart attack. All those armchair jurists on huffpo who are trying hard to exonerate him , rationalise his murder or even find a redeeming qualities. I hope they'll never lose a child like this. I really do.

ZIMMERMAN LET HIS JOB GO TO HIS HEAD. THERE IS NOTHING THAT TRAYVON DID WRONG..Police told Zimmerman to back off. Zimmerman continued attacking TRAYVON so he could kill him and make it look like self defence.He will try and justify what he did. He pushed the kid down on his stomach and he got a bloody nose he deserved it, Trayvon may have been fighting for his life...What Zimmerman did to a 16 year old kid is murder in the first, Unforgiveable. And what kind of a so good heart does Zimmerman have to be able to shoot a kid from behind. That is not self defence shooting him from behind. What a chicken CRAPOLA. God forgive me but I hope Zimmerman rotts in you know where...Even if Trayvon did something to break the law it did not give Zimmerman the right to kill Trayvon. But TRAYVON DID NOT BREAK THE LAW...And you know what Zimmerman will go to court and play the pour me's and how sorry he is to of made a mistake..And try and justify it. But he is a cold blooded murderer.And if he doesn't get locked up he better plan on hideing out, cause no one will ever want to run into him...He will have to watch what he is doing for the rest of his life. And I hope he can live with his self, cause if I did that I couldn't live with myself.

ABC Evening News had an interview with Zimmerman's defense attorney on tonight (Sun. 3/25/12).
The Chief of Police has said it appears that Zimmerman acted in self defense as well.
