Sunday night's hotly-anticipated season five "Mad Men" premiere certainly lived up to the weeks of hype. Among the episode's biggest shockers: Don Draper and Megan Calvet (now Draper) apparently tied the knot during the show's 17-month hiatus.
So where was the wedding?
Since many of the show's characters -- Joan, Betty, Roger and now Don -- have married off-screen, it's not likely we'll ever see the footage to know for sure. Creator Matthew Weiner did tell TV Guide however that the pair probably had a quickie ceremony at City Hall. Since only eight months have passed in the show's universe, City Hall seems like the only option.
Jon Hamm, knowing Don Draper best, added: "Considering it was Don's third wedding, it was probably something very private with just the kids and maybe Roger. The honeymoon was probably in Niagara Falls -- and a lot more fun!"
The new Mrs. Draper surprised her husband with a birthday dance to French pop tune "Zou Bisou Bisou" (see a clip below). Though it was a tad awkward -- and very unexpected -- we enjoyed her gutsy performance.
What do you think of Don's new wife? Will this Mrs. Draper last? And will Mr. Draper be a better husband this time around? Let us know in the comments.
