What could possibly be said about Ultra Music Festival that hasn't been already? The massive three-day EDM bacchanalia is one of the largest of its kind in the world, hosting 165,000 dance music fans in various stages of dress and undress to the sounds of new talent and pioneering legens.
This year was the usual mix of both, with New Order and Kraftwerk showing a new generation how it's done while 22-year-old Avicii closed the main stage on Saturday night. Back in Bayfront Park after a few years up the block, the festival seemingly went off without any major hitches and a whole lot of tutus. (You just haven't lived until you've been met by a wall of energy in the Carl Cox and Friends tent -- that one section of Ultra could just about power the sun.)
With the likes of Tiesto, David Guetta, Justice, Skrillex, Afrojack, Laidback Luke, Armin Van Buuren, and more -- like a suprise from Madonna herself -- the festival sold out fast and went crazy well into the night.
