Now that the macaroni rascals of the "Jersey Shore" are on hiatus, could these perma-tanned, mini-skirted Brooklynites become the new reality television megastars?
Unlikely as it may seem, local media have given the new show the thumbs-up. Although "The New York Times" refers to the show as "a goombah fix," it also says it has "slightly more verve and imagination than most docu-reality series," while the "Daily News" says "it's worth watching."
